It is an ordinary cafe operated by my grandmother.
Great place to get away from the crowds for some curry and a beer. Def come here for lunch.
MoreNice and quite place to get away from tourists
This is a delightful cafe hidden away behind the tourist madness where they make wonderful cappuccino and the octogenarian couple who run it make you feel so welcome. The coffee was so good we came back for more and to get a delicious vegetable curry for lunch...
MoreTotally loved this place!!! Mr and Mrs Takahashi were super nice and the coffee was delicious.
MoreLittle old European style coffee shop with jazz music on the radio, run my a nice older Japanese couple. Had yummy veggie curry in a lovely relaxing small garden. Then sat at the counter to watch our coffee made in this beautiful machine.
MoreNice friendly little coffee place very close to the main street, with really good coffee / cake sets.
Morequiet and delightful
Coke cake curry is delicious, and apple cake is also delicious. The cups used for beverages are different, each one is beautiful, and it can be seen that it is very hard to prepare and cherish this store. (Things are so delicious, I usually don’t get used to taking pictures before I take a photo of the store.)
MoreQuiet, tranquil, Nice place to stay
Really cute mom and pop near arashiyama. The couple that ran it were very accommodating and sweet! The curry was also amazing! Loved the experience here.
MoreNice place with good food and amazing friendly owners.
Super nice garden with seats. Lovely people running the cafe. So happy that we walked a bit off the crowded streets to get to this spot!!
MoreGood quiet place. Can also be seated in the garden. Tasty food. Seems to be a family run restaurant. Got a vegetarian curry rice, it was very tasty. The cappuccino and hot chocolate was good.
Morethe sandwiches were really nice
Lunch seems to be delicious!
It's a cafe run by an elderly couple, so it's quiet and friendly.
A gem hidden just behind the crazy busy main street. Lovely garden table. Friendly and accommodating owners. Good vegetarian options (just let the then owners know you don’t want any meat!)
MoreHidden gems. Their blend coffee is great! Quiet and relaxing space.
Perfect service with superb coffee.
Lovely, kawaii place. Good breakfast. Run by a cute elderly couple â¤ï¸
Arashiyama: The coffee line was too long, I was hungry and I was looking for a sign in the middle of the street. It looked like a restaurant run by a couple. I drank coffee with Omuraisu, but there was also a tatami room inside. It was quiet and really nice place. Next time I'll go again! :)
MoreBest breakfast we've had in a while. Everything was so so tasty and it's located on a quiet little street yet very close to everything in the area.Highly recommended.
MoreI found this coffee shop by chance while walk for sight seeing this area. Cozy cafe ,good coffee and nice owner. There is a small nice garden at the back too. I would go again if I have a chance to visit Arashiyama.
MoreVery cute little restaurant with a quiet garden. Also serves vegetarian alternatives.
MoreQuiet small place near busy streets of Arashiyama. Western style sandwiches and curries. Food is good and reasonable (1000-1500 yens/person).
MoreGood drinks and snacks at good prices.
The restaurant in the lane is delicious and delicious. Just like the boss and the couple, the details are carefully seen and recommended!
